📱 iSchoolRide PickupLine App — Parent User Guide
For Android & iOS Users
Welcome to iSchoolRide — the smarter way to manage after-school dismissal. This guide will help you get started with the PickupLine App and ensure a safe, smooth pickup every day.
✅ Getting Started
1. Download the App
iOS Users: Open the App Store and search for “iSchoolRide PickupLine”.
Android Users: Open the Google Play Store and search for the same.
Tap Download or Install and open the app once installed.
2. Create Your Account
Tap Sign Up on the login screen.
Enter:
Your school’s unique School Code
Your Email Address
A secure Password
Tap Register.
📩 You’ll receive a confirmation email. Click the link to activate your account.
👨👩👧 Add Your Students
Go to the Students tab.
Tap Add Student.
Enter:
Student's First and Last Name
Grade or classroom
Tap Save.
🔁 You can repeat this for multiple children.
👥 Add Family Members (Pickup Helpers)
Go to the Family Members tab.
Tap Add Member.
Provide:
Their name, phone number, and email (if they’ll log in)
Choose which students they’re allowed to pick up
Tap Save.
✅ Assigned members will only see the students they’re authorized for.
🚗 How Pickup Works
Drive into the school pickup zone at dismissal time.
The app will automatically check you in using your phone’s GPS.
School staff receive an instant alert on their Tracker App.
Your student is released from class just in time to meet your car.
Pickup is completed smoothly and safely — without signs, waiting in line, or delays.
⚙️ Tips for a Seamless Experience
Enable Location Services:
iOS: Set location access to “While Using the App” or “Always”.
Android: Set to “Allow all the time” in app settings.
Keep the App Running: Do not force-close the app; this helps with real-time detection.
Stay Logged In: Staying logged in ensures smooth check-ins during arrival.
Keep Info Updated: You can edit your email, password, students, or pickup members anytime in your Profile.
🔐 Your Child’s Safety Comes First
Only verified parents or approved family members can trigger a dismissal.
Students are never released without confirmation from the app.
All data is securely managed by your school and the iSchoolRide platform.
