iSchoolRide PickupLine App — Parent User Guide

For Android & iOS Users

Welcome to iSchoolRide — the smarter, faster, and safer way to manage school dismissal.
This guide will help you get started and make daily pickups simple and stress-free.

✅ Getting Started

1. Download the App

• iOS: Open the App Store, search for iSchoolRide PickupLine, then tap Get or Download.

• Android: Open the Google Play Store, search for iSchoolRide PickupLine, then tap Install.

• Open the app once installed.

2. Create Your Account

• Get your School Code from your school administrator.

• On the login screen, tap Sign Up and enter:

  • School Code

  • Email Address

  • Secure Password

• Tap Register.

• You’ll be taken to the Home screen, where a sample student will appear — replace this with your own student’s details.

👨‍👩‍👧 Add Your Students

1. From the Home screen, tap Manage Students.

2. Tap Add.

3. Enter:

   • First and Last Name

   • Grade/Classroom (select from the dropdown)

4. Tap Save.

5. Repeat for multiple children, if needed.

To edit student info: Tap the student’s name, make changes, and Save.

👥 Add Family Members (Pickup Helpers)

1. From the Home screen, tap Family Members.

2. Tap Add Member.

3. Enter:

   • Name

   • Phone Number

   • Email

   • Role

4. Tap Save — a unique Family Code will be created.

5. Family members use this code to log in to their own account.

Note: You will receive a notification when a family member picks up your student(s).

🚗 How Pickup Works

1. Drive into the school pickup zone at dismissal time.

2. The app automatically checks you in using your phone’s GPS.

3. School staff are instantly notified via their Tracker App.

4. Your student is released just in time to meet your car.

No more signs, long waits, or confusion — just smooth, safe pickups.

⚙️ Tips for a Seamless Experience

• Enable Location Services:

  • iOS: Set to Always.

  • Android: Set to Allow All the Time.

• Keep the App Running: Avoid force-closing to ensure real-time detection.

• Keep Info Updated: Edit your profile, students, and family members anytime.
